Job Overview

This position plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of automated contact lens manufacturing equipment.

As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and addressing line detractors, implementing continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment uptime, yield, and cycle time, and organizing maintenance and calibration activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Subject matter expertise in high-volume manufacturing equipment.
  • Diagnosing and resolving day-to-day operational issues.
  • Driving data-driven improvements in equipment performance.
  • Organizing and optimizing planned maintenance activities.
  • Ensuring proper machinery maintenance and spare parts sourcing.
  • Supporting site strategy and capacity expansion initiatives.
  • Providing technical training to operations and maintenance personnel.
  • Modeling excellent safety and quality behaviors.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (or equivalent).
  • At least 5 years of experience in process engineering or a related field.
  • Proven ability to optimize complex production lines within regulated environments.
  • Lean/Six Sigma or project management certification is preferred.
