About the Role

We are looking for an experienced R&D Engineer to support the product development of a cutting-edge device. The successful candidate will work closely with our cross-functional team to design, develop, and test the device, ensuring that it meets the required specifications and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering or a related field, with a minimum of three years' experience in medical device design and product development. You will be responsible for developing device specifications, designing sub-assemblies and finished devices, and building and testing prototypes.

You will also be required to analyze test data, interpret results, and identify optimal solutions. Additionally, you will need to ensure quality in the product's design for durability, usability, reliability, functionality, marketability, and manufacturability.

A strong understanding of Design Controls and FDA, GMP, QSR, and ISO 13485 requirements is essential. Experience interfacing with clinicians and reducing feedback to device concepts is also highly desirable.
