The ideal candidate will have a passion for procurement and a keen eye for detail. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating trading terms, and identifying areas of risk. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Buying Manager to join our procurement team. The successful candidate will be responsible for procurement across all sectors, developing and maximizing sales potential of products in store and online. They will also develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and other third-party organizations, negotiate trading terms, and identify areas of risk.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 GCSEs, including Maths and English, grade C or above, and a third-level qualification or degree in a business-related discipline. They will also have previous buying experience within the FMCG sector and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office packages and IT purchasing packages
