About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Experience Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional patient experiences. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve patient satisfaction and experience.

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Leading the development and implementation of strategies to improve patient satisfaction and experience;
  • Collaborating with other departments to achieve shared goals and objectives, including developing and implementing strategic plans;
  • Providing coaching and mentoring to team members to enhance their skills and abilities;
  • Identifying and addressing potential risks and opportunities to improve patient experience;

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategies to improve patient satisfaction and experience, including conducting patient surveys and focus groups;
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve shared goals and objectives, including developing and implementing strategic plans;
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members to enhance their skills and abilities, including developing and delivering training programs;
  • Identify and address potential risks and opportunities to improve patient experience, including developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies;

Service Delivery

  • Ensure the team delivers a high-quality service to patients and visitors, including answering calls and responding to queries;
  • Ensure that all patients are treated with dignity and respect, including providing individualised care and attention;
  • Be proactive in identifying and reporting issues relating to IT, fixtures & fittings or cleanliness;
  • Ensure the admin service for the various areas manages patient data in accordance with the requirements of GDPR;

Personal and Professional Responsibilities

  • Adhere to the Hospital's mission and Vision;
  • Maintain patient confidentiality including authorisation of the release of medical information;
  • Above all other duties and responsibilities, the safety and well-being of our patients and employees comes first;
