Experienced Audit Professional

Our organisation is seeking a highly skilled audit professional to join its growing team. This presents an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with at least 2 years' experience in Irish practice, who is looking to enhance their audit expertise within a progressive and supportive environment.

The Role:
  • Manage and lead audit assignments for a range of SME and corporate clients
  • Develop and implement audit plans, execute audits in accordance with relevant standards, and ensure timely completion
  • Provide guidance and mentor junior audit staff, promoting skill development and confidence
  • Liaise directly with clients to resolve queries and facilitate smooth audit delivery
  • Prepare audit files for review by partners and assist in finalising financial statements
  • Identify areas for improvement in client controls and provide actionable recommendations
Key Qualifications:
  • ACA or ACCA-qualified Chartered Accountant
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a practice-based audit role, preferably in Ireland
  • Strong technical knowledge of audit standards and accounting principles, with a focus on innovation and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced environment
