We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Facade Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, engineering, and delivery of high-quality facade systems across various projects in the UK and Ireland.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of precast concrete systems. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the design and engineering of precast concrete facades, ensuring structural integrity, aesthetics, and performance.
  • Collaborating closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop innovative facade solutions that meet project specifications.
  • Conducting detailed structural analysis, thermal modeling, and material assessments to optimize facade performance.
  • Ensuring compliance with Irish and European building regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Overseeing project management tasks, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.
  • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design teams.
  • Coordinating with manufacturing teams to ensure accurate production and installation of facade elements.
  • Reviewing and approving detailed design drawings, calculations, and specifications.
  • Managing client relationships, presenting design proposals and progress reports.
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks, ensuring timely and on-budget project delivery.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in facade engineering, with a strong focus on precast concrete systems.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other BIM tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of Irish and European building regulations and standards.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale facade projects from concept to completion.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
