Skilled Tradesperson

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a high-volume manufacturing facility as a skilled tradesperson.

The role involves performing preventative maintenance on electrical systems, complying with site safety policies and procedures, and participating in continuous improvement activities.

Responsibilities include:

1. Executing safe and efficient electrical preventative maintenance in line with site standards.
2. Participating in all aspects of site Health and Safety requirements, including Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work.
3. Completing a wide range of electrical and instrument maintenance tasks, including lighting, general services, process controls, motive power systems, and DCS and PLC systems.
4. Interacting with the CMMS and Work Order System.
5. Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a qualified Mechanical Fitter in a similar production or manufacturing environment is preferred.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems and mechatronic equipment and be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing these systems.

This is a straight-day role with one week in four on-call, providing a good work-life balance.
