About the Project

The project involves the delivery of high-quality electrical installations while maintaining strict compliance with safety and project requirements. The successful candidate will oversee project planning, coordination, and reporting for all electrical construction activities.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading and managing a team of Electrical Engineers, Supervisors, and Subcontractors.
  • Overseeing project planning, coordination, and reporting for all electrical construction activities.
  • Ensuring high-quality electrical installations while maintaining strict compliance with safety and project requirements.
  • Managing QA/QC processes alongside the project's QA Manager.
  • Liaising with design consultants and contractors to drive project success.
  • Maintaining budget control and driving project profitability.
  • Overseeing commissioning and final project handover.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate must have:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a relevant trade qualification.
  • 6+ years of experience as an Electrical Construction Manager.
  • Previous experience with an M&E contractor in Ireland or the UK.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to deliver projects within tight deadlines.
  • Excellent commercial awareness and client-facing experience.
  • A full understanding of the design and construction lifecycle.
