The Quality Control & Logistics Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining productivity and quality levels within the quality control side of the department. They will also be responsible for all incoming and outgoing goods, supervising the logistics department and staff, and assisting the Department head in any areas required.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Receipt of Incoming Goods: Ensure that all incoming goods are received and processed in a timely manner, with repair jobs booked in the same day.
  2. Transfer of Batch Work Units: Manage the transfer of batch work units between the returns department and Logistics.
  3. Configuration Work: Manage the receipt and despatch of configuration work to company HQ and raise and accept Distribution Orders.
  4. Microsoft CRM Oversight: Provide oversight of Microsoft CRM (customer relationship management) logistics assigned tasks.
  5. In-coming/Out-going Consignments: Manage in-coming and out-going consignments using the internal computer system, despatch books and direct contact with the company or courier.
  6. Courier Returns: Manage courier returns.
  7. Prioritisation: Prioritise work throughout the day to ensure logistics staff complete all duties by end of shift.
  8. Despatch Schedule: Ensure that 100% of processed handsets on Awaiting Despatch status are packed and despatched daily as per despatch schedule.
  9. Out-going Consignments: Ensure that all out-going consignments are correct.
  10. Picking and Packing: Manage the picking and packing of all customer consignments.
  11. Stock Takes: Carry out stock takes including weekly despatch materials, monthly VSP (Bailment devices) stock checks, and daily stocktake of configuration stock.
  12. Quality Testing: Conduct quality testing of all repaired handsets.
  13. Reports: Manage reports relating to Logistics department including end of shift reporting to Logistics statuses, daily Operational meeting updates on incoming and despatch, and Maintaining QA Fails database and QC fails.
  14. Warehouse Management: Manage Warehouse 16 stock, Insurance BER's/ UTR's (devices not repairable).
  15. Non-stock Inventory: Manage all non-stock inventory into Fonfix (i.e stationary, padded envelopes).
  16. Other Duties: Carry out any other duties requested by Fonfix management team.
