Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrician to join our team at Vertiv Ireland Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly and installation of electrical switchgear and associated electromechanical equipment, ensuring the highest quality standards and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and install electrical switchgear and associated electromechanical equipment according to engineering drawings and production timescales.
  • Work on own initiative with minimal supervision, contributing to the fitting, building, or construction of various parts to ensure a smooth process of component amalgamation.
  • Apply good workmanship and ensure quality standards are met and maintained, reporting any substandard or defective parts.
  • Mentor and develop team members, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Carry out maintenance work, thermal imaging inspections, and report writing as required.
Requirements:
  • C&G Electrical Qualification and an Engineering Apprenticeship with AM2 or equivalent.
  • Experience in electrical switchgear manufacture or similar.
  • Must be time served Electrician/Technician with experience of panel wiring, PLC's, motor control centers, or industrial installations.
