About This Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Analytical Chemist/Team Lead to join our R&D Centre in Swords, Co. Dublin.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise to ensure successful development and validation of phase-appropriate analytical methods, collaborating closely with other functions, and acting as the technical analytical team lead for NPI projects.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Providing technical expertise to ensure successful development and validation of phase-appropriate analytical methods.
  • Collaborating closely with other functions, including R&D Chemistry, Operations, Quality (QA/QC), SHE and external stakeholders/customers.
  • Direct management and supervision of analytical chemists.
  • Drafting and overseeing execution of AQPs and analytical protocols.
  • Acting as the technical analytical team lead for NPI projects.


Requirements:

  • BSc/MSc in chemistry or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in analytical activities within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment or a contract manufacturing (CMO) organisation.
  • Prior experience in personnel management or leading teams.
  • Excellent core competencies such as teamwork, communication skills, technical writing skills.
