**Role Overview:**

Children's Health Ireland (CHI) is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Paediatric Respiratory Physician to fill this key post on a specified purpose contract. The successful candidate will work 37 hours per week at CHI, split between CHI at Temple Street and CHI at Tallaght.

**Key Objectives:**

The primary objectives of this position are to:

  • Reduce extremely long waiting lists for outpatient clinic reviews.
  • Reduce waiting times for investigations related to sleep disordered breathing in children.
  • Improve patient care and outcomes.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce waiting times.
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in paediatric respiratory medicine.
  • Work closely with other specialties.
  • Foster partnerships and collaborations.

**Requirements:**

  • Registration as a specialist in Paediatrics.
  • Two years certified postgraduate training in paediatric respiratory medicine.
