We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) specialist to join our team. This role will involve leading the delivery of EIA reports and appropriate assessments for large-scale renewable energy projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead the EIA Process: Lead the EIA process for large-scale renewable energy projects, including the delivery of environmental impact assessment reports and appropriate assessments.
- Provide Environmental Expertise: Provide environmental expertise to assist the planning team and inform business unit strategy to ensure compliance with planning and environmental issues.
- Stay Up-to-Date: Keep abreast of changes in planning and environmental legislation, policy decisions, and updates to national, regional, and local authority development plans to maximise outcomes for the company.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Honours Degree: Hons degree (Lvl 8 FETAC) in environmental science, environmental engineering or equivalent; postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline desirable but not essential.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in leading the preparation of EIAR and AA/NIS for large-scale projects is essential.
- Expertise: Expertise in leading the delivery of EIS/EIAR and AA/NIS documentation for large-scale development projects is essential.
