The role of the Product Safety Analyst is to investigate and manage multiple product compliance cases, ensuring that any actual or potential breaches are identified and addressed. This involves conducting market surveillance activities on eCommerce platforms, assessing compliance with the RED and EMC Regulations.
- This includes carrying out authorized officer market surveillance activities on products being imported and sold in the State, as well as controlling the entry of relevant products into the State through engagement with relevant authorities.
- The Product Safety Analyst will also be responsible for developing and implementing risk-based processes and procedures to ensure an effective and consistent approach to market surveillance and compliance activities.
In addition, the successful candidate will be required to represent ComReg at national and international fora, contributing to EU-wide market surveillance campaigns. A strong understanding of radiocommunications networks and services, as well as experience in drafting documents for publication, would be advantageous.
