Job Title:
Electrical Maintenance Specialist

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and maintenance, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Our client requires an experienced professional to perform routine inspections, readings, and maintenance operations.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out daily maintenance tasks, including inspecting equipment and performing repairs as needed.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Assess and report on the condition of electrical systems, making recommendations for improvement where necessary.
  • Work closely with colleagues to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, providing updates on work progress and status.


Requirements:
  • Recognised electrical trade certification (equivalent to National Craft Certificate – Junior & Senior Trades)
  • Proven experience working with electrical supply and distribution systems, including low, medium, and high voltage
  • Formal training in low and high voltage systems, ideally to a City & Guilds or equivalent standard
  • Practical experience in LV and HV switching operations is highly desirable.
  • Competence in portable appliance testing (PAT)
  • Training in permit-to-work systems and safety protocols
