Located in Dublin, we are seeking an experienced Consultant Histopathologist with a special interest in Perinatal Pathology to join our dynamic medical team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team under the direction of the Master/CEO.
  • Contribute to the Laboratory Medicine Division within the Hospital.
  • Provide clinical leadership in MDT context - hand-over, ward-rounds, clinical risk & morbidity/mortality.
  • Responsibility for the organisation and provision of Perinatal Pathology.
  • Responsibility for education, training and audit.
  • Continuous Professional Development.

Requirements:

  • Full registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Irish Medical Council (IMC)—Specialist Division in Histopathology.
  • Should be fully trained to the level of Consultant Histopathologist.

Benefits:

  • A basic salary scale between €231,215 - €277,036.
  • Additional remuneration for on-call duties and overtime as applicable depending on rota.
  • Highly flexible contract that enables consultants opportunity for a variety of different work patterns.
  • Up to €12,000 CME and €8,000 research grant.
  • 30 days annual leave.
  • 10 public holidays.
  • Continuous Medical Education leave.
  • Hours: 37 hours per week, plus on-call supplements.
