Job Opportunity:

About the Role:

  • You will play a crucial part in overseeing daily NAV valuations, ensuring they are completed on time and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Organize and own personal daily work schedule of allocated funds and reporting, balancing NAV oversight responsibilities with reporting deliverables
  2. Provide Fund Accounting support to allocated clients
  3. Supervise the accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of all processes
  4. Monitor key quality, productivity, and risk measures and ensure they are met or exceeded
  5. Adhere to comprehensive operating procedures that ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of all processes
  6. Support team manager with project and client requests
  7. Minimize processing errors and financial losses
  8. Document business support procedures
  9. Coordinate and administer assignments and maintain schedules
  10. Demonstrate awareness of technical requirements for accounting products
  11. B uild a cohesive team spirit within the Fund Accounting team that fosters a clear client service focus, operational efficiency, and an error-free environment

Requirements:

  1. Post-secondary education in accounting/finance or equivalent
  2. Previous financial services industry experience in an operations environment
  3. Teamwork and cooperation-oriented mindset
  4. Good communication skills
  5. Good business acumen
  6. Proven analytical thinking skills
  7. Risk management and mitigation focus
  8. Proven organizational and time management skills
  9. Industry, accounting, or other recognized accredited program would be an asset
  10. Client-facing experience
  11. Good presentation skills
