Job Description

As a key member of the Kirby Group Engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering projects on time and to budget. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the technical design and installation of mechanical systems meet the required standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with the project manager to agree on project activities and timelines.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure technical specifications are met.
  • Evaluate opportunities for value engineering or cost savings.
  • Prepare coordinated drawings covering all aspects of installation.
  • Review and understand project design specifications and drawings.


Requirements:
  • 3rd level qualification in Building Services Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or Senior Trades qualification.
  • Significant project engineering experience (5+ years) with a mechanical contractor.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills and record keeping abilities.
