Global Procurement Leader

We are seeking a highly experienced professional to lead our global procurement function. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the strategic direction of direct materials categories.

The ideal candidate will have strong relationship-building skills, technical expertise in the biotech or pharmaceutical sector, and experience in leading cross-functional teams. They will also have excellent analytical skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions and drive value through cost savings, cash flow improvements, and efficiency gains.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the biopharmaceutical industry, including its challenges and opportunities. They will be able to develop and execute global procurement strategies that directly contribute to the overall success of the organization.

To be considered for this role, you must hold a BA/BS degree in a relevant field and have at least 17 years of professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the strategic direction of direct materials categories
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve results through sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship management
  • Use data to inform decisions and drive value through cost savings, cash flow improvements, and efficiency gains
  • Collaborate with site-based staff and senior management to ensure alignment with organizational goals
  • Partner with suppliers to negotiate contracts and manage relationships

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in a relevant field
