Process Optimization Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to support the delivery of Operational Excellence projects and manage capital projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and managing key Operational Excellence projects to increase site capacity.
  • Managing capital projects from scope generation through to performance qualification and close-out.
  • Providing specialist technical knowledge and advice on process-related problems, including cost, quality, productivity, and safety issues.
  • Leading investigations and corrective/preventative action tracking where significant process safety incidents occur.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' experience in a Process Engineering role in the Pharmaceutical Industry, an Honours Degree in Chemical Engineering, and experience in LEAN manufacturing is desirable.

Requirements:
  • Strong analytical knowledge using fundamental engineering principles.
  • Ability to lead and participate in HazID's, SIL assessments, LOPA's, and other related activities.
  • Experience with EHS roles and responsibilities as per the site Safety Statement.
