We are seeking a skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Cpl Healthcare, providing high-quality speech and language therapy services to individuals with disabilities in the Northwest and Western regions of Ireland.

About the Role

This role involves working closely with children, young people, and adults with various disabilities, including intellectual, physical, sensory, and autism-related needs. As a Speech & Language Therapist, you will assess, diagnose, and deliver therapy interventions to enhance communication and functional abilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Assess communication needs and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
  2. Deliver therapy services, including communication assessments, diagnostics, and intervention strategies.
  3. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  4. Educate and support families, caregivers, and staff on communication strategies and individual needs.
  5. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and service development projects.
  6. Document patient information accurately and timely in accordance with professional standards.

Requirements:

  1. Qualification in Speech & Language Therapy from a recognized institution.
  2. At least 2 years of experience in disability services or related field.
  3. Registration with CORU as a Speech & Language Therapist.
  4. Experience in implementing communication aids, such as Lámh.
  5. Garda Clearance (and Overseas Clearance if applicable).
  6. Driver's license with access to a vehicle.
