Project Manager Role

We currently supply world-leading food brands across more than 44 markets, including the UK, Europe, Asia and Africa. Our company offers a full-service solution to B2B customers in the pizza, sandwich, snack and prepared meal sectors.

All our products are produced in state-of-the-art facilities. We are seeking for a Project Manager to join our Science & Innovation Department to be based in our head offices in Naas, Co. Kildare.

  • Lead projects from start to final review within our stage gate process (Nectar).
  • Explore project concepts, conduct opportunity assessments and feasibility studies, and develop business cases.
  • Test and scale up projects within factory settings.
  • Implement production reviews and improvement stages.
  • Complete required steps on Navision to ensure all departments are clear at each step of the process.
  • Present to Customers and visit their facilities, leading technical discussions and offering consumer insights.
  • Update project innovation pipeline weekly, communicating significant changes or delays to team members.
  • Present regular reviews of Nectar projects, offering positive continuous improvement suggestions that deliver to business core strategic plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for gate review meetings at each stage of the nectar process.
  • Develop a network of technical experts to assist in the nectar innovation process.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness when using any of the facilities within our facility.
  • Other reasonable tasks as outlined by direct Manager or head of department.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working in the Food Industry with Third level qualification in the Food Science or similar field.
  • BSc. Food Science & Technology or equivalent.
  • Proven track record in a similar role in a high-risk food environment.
  • Navision experience preferable but not a requirement.
  • Excellent project management skills and project leadership ability.
  • Team player who works well with others.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to facilitate meeting's, provide daily and weekly updates and adhere to all boards and recording systems.
  • Innovative and problem-solving mindset with commitment to continuous improvement and delivering customer results.
  • Excellent technical ability focusing on problem solving solutions.
