Civil Design Engineer Opportunity

Our organization is seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join their team in Limerick. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of residential, commercial and industrial projects.

Key responsibilities include the design of infrastructure, developing designs from initial concept to site supervision, working as part of a design team and supervising the preparation & implementation of drawings and documents for projects.

  • Responsible for developing the design from initial concept to site supervision.
  • Working as part of a design team.
  • Supervising the preparation & Implementation of drawings and documents for projects;
  • Attending & Liaising with Clients, Contractors, Consultants and all relevant stakeholders;
  • Monitoring of project scoping, budgets, monthly operating plans and resource allocation;
  • Carry out Inspecting and supervising on site works.

The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years relevant work experience within consulting engineers or equivalent, hold a degree qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent and possess design experience of Residential, Commercial, Institutional, Educational, Residential and light & heavy Industrial Structures.

A strong ability to work as part of a team and achieve tight deadlines and communicate effectively is essential, as well as knowledge of current codes of practice, building control regulations and procedures. The successful candidate will be capable of supervising technicians in the production of drawings and information.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3-4 years relevant work experience within consulting engineers or equivalent.
  • Degree qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
