Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time role that requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing HVAC systems to ensure optimal functionality and energy efficiency. They will work with various equipment types and provide top-quality service to clients.

About the Role

This position involves completing servicing, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of HVACR equipment as well as preventative maintenance of various types of HVACR systems. The ideal candidate will provide up-to-date site surveys, records, and reports regarding works completed and actions needed to aid quoting of new or replacement equipment.

As a primary contact for all technical service issues, the HVAC Service Engineer will be accountable for resolving highly complex systems within a set timeframe and according to a defined process, service agreement, and customer needs.

The majority of work will be conducted in the Cork area with the company's largest customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • F-GAS certificate
  • Relevant vocational qualifications & certificates
  • At least 5-7 years of proven experience as an HVAC Engineer or HVAC Service Technician
  • Experience with major HVAC manufacturers such as Daikin, Hitachi, Mitsubishi Electric
  • Ability to work without detailed procedures and with limited supervision
  • Clean Irish Driving License
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
