We are a global multi-national group with operations in Ireland. Our clients in Wexford are looking to recruit a Financial Accountant / Site Controller to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning: Preparation of monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts to meet corporate deadlines.
- Financial Control: Analysis of actual versus budget and forecast performance, development of KPI's, and reporting same to senior management.
- Team Leadership: Management of a finance team and close collaboration with senior management to drive business growth.
- Financial Processes: Maintenance and reconciliation of ledgers, year-end audit, inventory management, and cashflow management.
- Compliance and Reporting: Creation of ad-hoc reports, statutory returns, and preparation of financial accounts and audit.
Requirements
- Qualifications: A professional accounting qualification such as ACCA or CIMA.
- Experience: Experience in a manufacturing company and/or practice trained, with high-level proficiency in PC spreadsheets.
- Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
