Social Care Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to support separated children seeking international protection in our multidisciplinary team.

As a social care worker, you will be responsible for providing emotional support and facilitating the development of support plans to enhance the well-being of these vulnerable individuals.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team to provide comprehensive support services to separated children.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of individualized support plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions and progress.
  • Exercise cultural sensitivity and empathy in all interactions with clients and their families.

Requirements:

  • A Third Level Qualification in Applied Social Studies or an equivalent field.
  • Prior experience in a caring role, preferably working with vulnerable populations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
