Senior Software Engineer - Machine Learning Platform

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Machine Learning Platform engineering team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering high-quality products and experiences for millions of users.

  • Technical Leadership: Lead the development, support, and optimization of several ML platform components and services, ensuring seamless integration and performance.
  • Integration Patterns: Design and implement integration patterns for incorporating new components into the ML platform, promoting scalability and reliability.
  • Work Planning: Collaborate with teams to plan and estimate work requirements for delivering new ML platform capabilities, driving project success.
  • Security and Compliance: Establish and maintain robust security, compliance, and governance standards for the ML platform, protecting user data and ensuring regulatory adherence.
  • Monitoring and Observability: Design comprehensive monitoring, observability, and alerting systems to provide real-time insights into ML platform health, enabling proactive issue resolution.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with ML engineering teams to support productionizing ML models and experiments, fostering innovation and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in backend or infrastructure roles in AI/ML.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
  • Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, Java, Scala, or Go).
  • Experience with cloud and container technologies (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD) and MLOps best practices.
  • Experience working with distributed systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
