Manufacturing Line Equipment Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing line.
The Equipment Maintenance Specialist is responsible for being the subject matter expert for equipment primary and support processes within the Manufacturing area. They must be an ever-present source of technical expertise, providing value-added support to equipment issue resolution while maintaining optimal product output.
Key Responsibilities:- Taking ownership of equipment performance/reliability to achieve zero downtime through proactive management.
- Evaluating equipment and process inputs/outputs to ensure optimal visual and functional product performance.
- Completing planned maintenance on time and offering improvements when found deficient to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Identifying requirements for jigs/fixtures to improve workstation efficiency or yield improvement.
- Maintaining sufficient Kanban and robust processes for consumable equipment spares in inventory to minimize downtime.
- Supporting the onboarding of new technician hires.
This role requires a Level 6 Higher Certificate or above in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering) along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical role in a similar field. Demonstrated experience with automated equipment maintenance is an advantage.
