About this role

We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Localisation QA Engineer. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with innovative software products, contribute to cutting-edge technologies, and be part of a multicultural environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic and collaborative team, where we encourage sharing of ideas and best practices. As a Localisation QA Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing localisation testing on software, print documents, help and hardware items.
  • Reporting issues found using internal tools, providing pertinent information and suggestions, and following the solution process to its completion.
  • Analysing international functionality issues.
  • Working cross-functionally with international software QA centres, engineering teams, translators, and project managers to ensure delivery of world-class products to international markets.
  • Performing any other duties relevant to the role.

Duties may include:

  • Designing, implementing, and organising manual test plans.
  • Creating, maintaining, and carrying out automated test procedures.
  • Coding software test automation in technologies like Swift, ObjC, Python, and Ruby or other programming languages as required.
  • Carrying out technical software reviews to assess automation opportunities.

Requirements:

  • To be a native speaker of the language required and have a deep knowledge of linguistics.
  • To possess strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • To have excellent attention to detail and be a team player.
  • To be self-driven, flexible, and able to work on multiple projects with various types of deadlines.
  • To enjoy breaking down software to make it better.
  • To have experience in software localisation/internationalisation.
