Job Overview

Clinical Nurse Managers play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of nursing homes. We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Manager.

This role reports to the Assistant Director of Nursing and Director of Nursing, providing clinical leadership support and assisting with managing day-to-day clinical practices. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the ADON and Healthcare Manager to provide clear communication and direction.

Daily Responsibilities

  1. Review staff rosters and arrange cover for absences
  2. Ensure effective communication with staff, residents, and relatives
  3. Implement Company Health and Safety Policy to safeguard the safety and welfare of all

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a senior management team
  • Ability to motivate self and others and work on own initiative
  • First level registration, registered on appropriate part of the Irish live register, evidence of continuous Professional Development, and previous management experience
