Project Manager - Onshore Wind & Solar Projects

The role of a Project Manager in the renewable energy sector is pivotal in driving sustainable development and maximizing positive impact on local communities.

  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets for onshore wind and solar projects.
  • Procure and manage external consultants, including planning consultants, ecologists, and other technical specialists.
  • Support communications and interactions with external stakeholders such as local communities, landowners, and planning authorities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify potential risks and assess proposals for risk mitigation.
  • Monitor project progress and report on key milestones and deliverables to senior management.
  • Collect and share industry and project information with the team.
  • Provide technical input into investment committee interactions throughout the investment cycle.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in the renewable energy or planning sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in Ecology, Planning, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Planning and Environmental Impact Assessments process for onshore wind projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
