Head of Sustainability

We are seeking an experienced sustainability leader to spearhead our company's commitment to environmental stewardship and innovation.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of sustainable practices across various projects. As Head of Sustainability, you will lead the development and implementation of our sustainability strategy, collaborating closely with senior leadership to ensure best practices are integrated into project design and delivery.

You will oversee sustainability assessments, energy modeling, and carbon reduction strategies to achieve the highest standards of environmental performance. Key aspects of the role include ensuring compliance with global sustainability certifications such as LEED, BREEAM, and WELL, while driving innovation in energy-efficient solutions and life cycle assessments.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in sustainability, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership or managerial role
  • Proven track record of managing sustainability strategies within the design or consultancy sectors
  • Deep understanding of sustainability frameworks and certifications such as LEED, BREEAM, WELL, etc.
  • Expertise in energy modeling, carbon footprint assessments, and life cycle analysis
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a passion for developing and growing talent within a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
  • A visionary mindset, with a proven ability to lead sustainability innovation and change management within an organization
