Job Title: BIM Coordinator Lead

We are seeking a seasoned BIM Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This position involves collaborating with project stakeholders to deliver coordinated and high-quality BIM outputs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining 3D models, coordinating model clashes, and generating visual content such as renders and technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Model Development: Develop and maintain accurate 3D models using BIM software.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and supervisors to achieve project goals.
  • Model Coordination: Lead weekly model coordination meetings to ensure efficient delivery.
  • Clash Detection: Identify and report model clashes using BIM coordination tools.
  • Model Management: Oversee incoming and shared models to ensure accuracy and compatibility.
  • Visual Content: Generate renderings and technical drawings for reporting purposes.
  • System Coordination: Coordinate mechanical and electrical systems within the BIM environment.
  • Documentation: Deliver as-built documentation and asset information models.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in BIM coordination with Revit and Navisworks.
  • Strong background in mechanical or electrical services coordination.
  • Proficient in BIM software tools and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proven track record of resolving coordination issues efficiently.
  • Able to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of producing COBie and Asset Information Models.
  • Experience producing AutoCAD schematics and 3D visual content.
  • Familiarity with working from point cloud data is advantageous.
  • Background in mechanical/electrical trades is beneficial.
