Senior Manager Position

We are seeking a senior manager to lead our Project Management and Design function.

The ideal candidate will bring international experience, manage and grow this team, and oversee the execution of large infrastructure projects with capabilities similar to a traditional PMO, including design management.

This role supports Project and Technical Directors by translating protocols and best practices to deliver major infrastructure projects for both Client side (Owners Engineers) and Design and Build (Contractor) projects.

  • Collaborate with top management and stakeholders to develop the new function
  • Develop, implement and execute strategies for team growth and project delivery
  • Manage and oversee large transport projects
  • Grow the project pipeline and order book
  • Ensure financial and operational management of key projects
  • Inspire and engage employees, partners and clients through inclusive leadership
  • Support resource allocation and collaboration across the company

Requirements:

- Extensive international senior experience in engineering, design, owner and contractor roles on major infrastructure and transport projects

- Experience with PMO or PMD functions, especially in establishing international remote teams

- Civil infrastructure experience is preferred

- Excellent English communication skills; Scandinavian or German language skills are a plus

- M.Sc. in Engineering is advantageous

- Membership in professional bodies such as PMI or ICE is desirable
