Job Summary

This role offers a unique opportunity to join our finance team as a senior accountant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of entities within the group, ensuring timely and accurate completion of monthly, half-year, and annual consolidation and statutory reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the finance team with the month-end process for the largest group entity.
  • Support intercompany transactions.
  • Contribute to the consolidation process.
  • Prepare the group month-end file.
  • Develop monthly departmental reporting packs.
  • Participate in the monthly board reporting process.
  • Coordinate and participate in drafting single-entity financial statements.
  • Participate in half-year and year-end reporting, including financial statement preparation.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors.
  • Support the annual report preparation.
  • Assist in preparing Audit & Risk committee presentations.
  • Manage routine treasury data management and compliance requirements.
  • Support annual and quarterly budgeting and reforecasting processes.
  • Collaborate with departments across the business, providing informative analysis.

Requirements

Candidate Profile

  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA).
  • Experience in the construction industry (a bonus).
  • Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Solver expertise (an advantage).
  • Able to work across multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and solution-driven.
