Food Production Team Member Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Food Production Team Member to join our team in the production area. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including packing lines, wrapping, cutting, metal detecting, labeling and palletization of product.

  • Key responsibilities include setup and running of packing/cutting equipment, completion of Quality Management System working documents, and adherence to HACCP systems.
  • The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills and be able to work well in a team environment.

Additional duties may include assisting with upkeep of the grounds and general area surrounding the premises.

This is a full-time position with a typical work schedule of 7am till 3pm Monday to Thursday and 6.30am till 11.30am on weekends.

Benefits include a competitive salary and package, including paid break times and up to 2 additional days leave at your own expense.

Responsibilities also include handling weights up to 20kg, as well as cleaning agents and adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols.

The Food Production Team Member will also assist in the cheesemaking area as part of a team of 5, performing tasks such as assistant to cheesemaking, stirring vats, salting cheese, and cleaning at weekends.

Qualified candidates must have excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to consistently handle weights up to 20kg and adhere to HACCP systems.

The role requires strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
