We're looking for a skilled Senior HSS Advisor to join our Project Delivery Unit (PDU) in Ireland & Northern Ireland. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and security of our people, projects, and communities.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will have a strong background in HSS, with experience working on large-scale energy projects. You'll be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to project managers, as well as implementing and promoting our HSS policies and procedures.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Producing EPC HSS Management Plans and related documents per corporate standards.
- Reviewing HSS documentation from subcontractors.
- Conducting internal audits and site inspections, recommending and documenting improvements.
- Ensuring contractors implement the approved HSS management plan.
- Reporting events and dangerous occurrences, ensuring thorough investigations.
- Attending HSS coordination and site meetings.
- Preparing monthly KPI reports for HSS and Business Unit Managers.
- Managing site start-up meetings with contractors.
- Completing HSS onboarding for new contractors.
- Preparing and rolling out monthly HSS campaigns across projects.
- Visiting development projects, preparing access protocols and risk assessments.
- Coordinating with PSDP/PD, OE, and PSCS/PC across projects.
- Ensuring compliance with safety file requirements before project handover.
- Implementing and promoting the company incentive scheme on projects.
