Job Title: CQV Utilities Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled CQV Utilities Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our utilities systems.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring that equipment failures or issues are responded to promptly and appropriately in a cross-functional environment.
  • Recording interventions including failure codes.
  • Providing guidance and solutions for preventative action where required.
  • Executing planned maintenance routines including predictive, preventative and calibration activities.
  • Ensuring all Work Orders are completed on time and in a safe and compliant manner and asset management data is captured accurately.
  • Providing clear and concise written and verbal handovers to colleagues.
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives & identifying improvements in job plan information and spare parts for planned activities.
  • Supporting major equipment overhauls and managing vendors when on site.
  • Supporting development of training information, cross-train colleagues.
  • Assisting colleagues and other functions with tasks – i.e. set-up, sampling, cleaning validation activities.
  • Working in cross-functional teams where Operational Excellence techniques are used to optimize processes.
  • Ensuring the site is audit ready at all times, house-keeping standards are always adhered to & training completed on time.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum Level 6 qualification in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechanical related field.
  • Extensive experience in a maintenance or relevant engineering role in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in a regulated biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, medical device, facilities maintenance or FMCG facility is required.
  • High level of attention to detail in following procedures and must be flexible and open to change.
  • Ability to work independently and also as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and adhere to scheduled timelines.
