The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the day service, ensuring that all aspects of care and support are delivered to the highest standards.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about social care and want to make a real difference in the lives of people with intellectual disabilities. If you have a strong background in social care and are able to work independently, we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and coordinate the day service, ensuring all aspects of care and support are delivered to the highest standards.
  2. Implement operational plans as determined by Care Management.
  3. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the day service.
  4. Develop and maintain effective relationships with service users and their families.
  5. Ensure high-quality care and support is provided to service users.

Requirements:

  • CORU-approved Level 7 Degree in Social Care or registration with CORU as a Social Care worker.
  • At least 3 years of experience working in social care.
  • Proven ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation and New Directions standards.
