Saint John of God Community Services Clg is seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (CNM2) to lead our team in providing exceptional care to adults with intellectual disabilities. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate nurse leader to join our organization and contribute to the growth and development of our services.
Key Responsibilities
- To manage and coordinate the delivery of high-quality care to adults with intellectual disabilities, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- To work closely with the management teams, multi-disciplinary teams, and dementia teams to provide comprehensive support to service users.
- To develop and implement policies and procedures that promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the organization.
- To collaborate with external partners and stakeholders to enhance service delivery and achieve better outcomes for service users.
- To maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements
- A current registration on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland register.
- Preferably RNID trained with 3 years' experience in the intellectual disability sector.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of Health Act Regulations, HIQA Standards, New Directions, and other relevant legislation.
- Experience in the area of intellectual disabilities, particularly older health and fragility care.
- Good leadership qualities, including excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and change management and auditing skills.
