Project Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to lead construction activities on-site for a trenching and ducting project in Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience as a Senior Civil Engineer in civil engineering or construction projects, with utilities experience and road corridor working preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Background in civil engineering an asset.

Job Requirements:

  • The Senior Engineer is responsible for overseeing key works packages, coordinating with contractors and ensuring timely delivery of technical information.
  • Coordinating design team and subcontractors to ensure accurate flow of information.
  • Overseeing technical delivery of the project.
  • Managing Site Engineers for control point establishment, grid setting, formation levels and as-built surveys.
  • Stewardship of Technical Quality Control process to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Developing Project Inspection Plan and supporting Health and Safety Manager in developing and executing plans.
  • Managing environmental records and other tasks commensurate with the role.
