Human Resource Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a strategic Human Resources professional to lead our HR function and drive our people strategy. As a key member of our Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for guiding our future staff recruitment, retention, and development plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the HR function, providing guidance to management and staff.
  2. Manage the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing & screening candidates, short-listing CVs, scheduling & partaking in interviews, reference checking etc.
  3. Focus on employee retention, with particular attention on new employee inductions and wellbeing/retention initiatives.
  4. Manage employee relations, ensuring fair and consistent practices.
  5. Oversee performance management, training, and staff development.
  6. Ensure compliance with employment legislation, GDPR, and HSE standards.
Candidate Profile:
  • Third-level qualification in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years HR experience, including 2 years in a management role.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practice.
  • Awareness of the health, social care, or charity sector desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
  • CIPD membership (or working towards) an advantage.
