We are seeking a skilled Heavy Machinery Repair Specialist to join our team at Primtac Personnel Ltd. The ideal candidate will have experience with forklift trucks, heavy construction equipment, plant machinery, or agricultural machinery.
A trade qualification or certification in Construction Plant Fitting or Agricultural Mechanics is highly preferred. In this role, you will visit customer sites to identify and repair issues with forklifts, perform regular preventative maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly, and follow all health and safety rules while on-site.
Key responsibilities include communicating regularly and effectively with service managers and the department team, completing all necessary paperwork on time, and meeting required deadlines. If you are passionate about working with machinery and value professional development, this role could be the perfect fit for you.
In terms of benefits, we offer competitive pay rates depending on experience, fixed working hours from Monday to Thursday (8:30 AM - 5:30 PM) and Friday (8:30 AM - 4:30 PM), overtime opportunities, company vehicle, mobile phone, and laptop provided, PPE and uniforms supplied, access to ongoing training, and tax-free daily subsistence allowance for workdays.
As a Heavy Machinery Repair Specialist, you will also enjoy a minimum of 20 days annual leave, with an extra day for every four years of service (up to a maximum of three additional days). We are committed to providing a safe and supportive work environment, and we are looking for someone who shares our values.
