As an Instrumentation and Electrical Expert, you will be responsible for the site electrical operational maintenance and calibration program. This includes management of electrical systems and calibration programs ensuring efficient operation and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Daily Tasks:
- Leading a team of employees and outside contractors/vendors who are responsible for maintaining site electrical infrastructure and site instrumentation equipment in a qualified state to support production operations.
- Maintaining and updating documentation, including electrical schematics, loop diagrams, and control narratives.
- Overseeing the design, installation, and commissioning of new E&I projects from planning to completion.
- Collaborating with senior management to align E&I objectives with overall business goals.
- Applying technical knowledge to assist in determining root cause of equipment failures and identification of effective corrective actions.
Necessary Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and develop high-performance teams.
- Strong understanding of safety management principles and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in designing, installing, and commissioning electrical and instrumentation systems.
