Deli Specialist

The role of a Delicatessen Team Member is crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and delivering high-quality products. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for preparing hot and cold delicatessen products and providing exceptional customer service.

This position requires strong communication skills to interact with customers and effectively manage the workload in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare customer orders across all fresh food areas, including making sandwiches and rolls, serving hot food, and slicing meats using portion control measures
• Cook, prepare, and display foods sold throughout the day
• Maintain counter displays across all fresh food departments to the highest standards at all times
• Demonstrate passion for quality food by sharing knowledge, recipes, and personal recommendations with customers

Requirements:

• HACCP training desirable but not necessary
• Excellent communication skills
• Previous customer service experience advantageous
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, multitasking under pressure
