Job Opportunity

A vital member of our Integrated Facilities Management team is needed to ensure a safe, efficient and welcoming environment for our clients. As an electrical specialist, you will play a key role in maintaining excellence and sustainability in our operations.

This position involves performing maintenance and reactive tasks on various electrical building services equipment, conducting scheduled maintenance on electrical systems and fixtures, overseeing Life Safety Systems and collaborating with associated vendors, supporting sustainability efforts by managing energy consumption effectively, coordinating with external contractors for maintenance and repairs, planning and executing minor installations and improvement projects, performing cost and delivery assessments in line with Sodexo procurement procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols, including risk assessments and lock-out tag-out processes, and taking ownership of task completion ensuring timely and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical building services equipment.
  • Conduct regular checks on electrical systems and fixtures.
  • Oversee the implementation of Life Safety Systems and work collaboratively with vendors.
  • Support sustainability initiatives by effectively managing energy consumption.
  • Coordinate with external contractors to facilitate maintenance and repairs.
  • Plan and execute small-scale installations and improvement projects.
  • Assess costs and deliverables in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintain adherence to health and safety protocols, including risk assessments and lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Take ownership of task completion, ensuring timely and high-quality results.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience in electrical building services and plant maintenance.
  • Level 6 NQAI Certificate in Electrical Craft Practice or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer focus and a proactive, positive attitude.
  • Proficiency in numeracy and computer literacy.
  • Full clean driving license.
