Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting clients with daily living needs
  • Food preparation
  • Assistance with mobility
  • Medication prompting
  • Companionship
  • Carrying out domestic duties such as light housework, laundry, shopping, etc.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • QQI Level 5 in Healthcare minimum requirement
  • Care Skills and Care of the Older Person
  • Excellent Communication and English speaking skills
  • A positive can-do attitude with a great level of empathy and patience
  • Sociable and approachable while being extremely dependable
  • A full and in-date driver's license
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland
