Hays Finance are partnering with a reputable local manufacturing company that focuses on quality products and continuous improvement.

Job Description

The Accounts Assistant plays a key role in the finance function, ensuring the smooth operation of administration tasks and duties.

With over 20 years of experience, our client has achieved significant growth and expansion due to cost efficiencies and a fast product turnover rate.

This exciting opportunity will see you manage the efficient running of the Administration office and reception area.

  1. Manage accounts administrative tasks, including invoicing, query resolution, and supplier statement reconciliation.
  2. Support the Accountant and Payroll team with credit control and general admin duties.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need at least 2 years' experience in a busy office environment, with demonstrable experience in invoicing and SAGE accounts.

Prior experience managing payroll and proficiency in computerized systems, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel, is essential.

A customer-facing background is desirable, as the role requires you to be based in the reception area.

Working hours: Monday - Thursday (8am-5pm) and Friday (1pm finish).
