About the Role: This is a fantastic opportunity for a Fully Qualified Accountant to step into a management position. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for ownership of a portfolio of clients, managing accounts (monthly and year-end), preparing corporation tax and income tax returns, audit consultancy, preparation of financial statements, reviewing and finalizing year-end accounts, dealing with ad hoc client queries, and training junior staff members.

Key Responsibilities:*

  • Ownership of a portfolio of clients
  • Management accounts (monthly and year-end)
  • Preparation of corporation tax and income tax returns
  • Audit consultancy
  • Preparation of financial statements
  • Reviewing and finalizing year-end accounts
  • Dealing with ad hoc client queries
  • Train junior staff members

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to be ACA/CPA/ACCA qualified, have 1-2 years Post Qualified practice experience, possess a broad range of experience across the areas of accountancy, audit & tax, be pro-active, able to deliver to tight deadlines and within budget, possess excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, possess good team working skills and be a good team leader, be able to work on your own initiative and report directly to partner level, and experience mentoring and training junior staff highly desirable.
