We are seeking an experienced Safety and Compliance Specialist to join our team at Brightwater. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing Health and Safety policies and procedures that meet regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  1. Safety Management: Develop and maintain Health and Safety management systems, ensuring compliance with Irish Health and Safety legislation.
  2. Branch Inspections: Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments across multiple sites to identify hazards and recommend solutions.
  3. Training & Induction: Deliver Health and Safety training programs and inductions to employees and other stakeholders.
  4. Incident Reporting: Manage and report accidents, incidents, or near-misses, ensuring proper investigation and follow-up actions.
  5. Compliance: Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and ensure projects meet statutory Health and Safety requirements.

Requirements:

  • A recognized qualification in Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH)
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a Health and Safety capacity with a warehouse background
  • Strong knowledge of Irish Health and Safety regulations
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
